In this context, community-based stories emerge as a powerful tool to shape the narrative of sustainable tourism development. Community-based stories are the authentic voices of local residents and stakeholders who deeply connect to their land, culture, and heritage. These stories reflect their experiences, values, and aspirations, offering a unique perspective on sustainable tourism. By tapping into these narratives, we can gain invaluable insights into how tourism can be harnessed as a force for positive change, benefiting both the local community and the environment.

Mr. PaulChan serves as the co-founder and CEO of Walk in Hong Kong. He aims to deliver exceptional cultural tourism experience while actively promoting heritage conservation, sustainable tourism, place branding, and tourism innovation in Hong Kong.
Ms. HarrietCheung (Storius）
Ms. HarrietCheung is a content writer at Storius, a free audio-based travel app thatenables tech-savvy, curious explorers to listen to in-depth stories behindplaces while walking through the city. She is fascinated by the history andculture of Hong Kong, and volunteered as a docent at the Hong Kong PalaceMuseum and Yim Tin Tsai before.
Participants of the seminar are required to purchase ferry tickets at Sai Kung Pier to board the ferry to Yim Tin Tsai. Please allocate sufficient time and budget for the ferry fare accordingly.
